Black Dash rendezvous with her ally, Black Phase, who delivers urgent orders—stop Black Barrett before his betrayal endangers the entire war effort. But something doesn’t add up. With victory in sight, why would Barrett switch sides now? As Dash tracks him down, she begins to wonder if he’s a traitor—or if he’s seen a truth their organization wants buried.
